Abstract

Introduction: The Internet is growing quickly, and social media in particular—such as Whatsapp, Instagram, etc.—has a significant impact on people's lives, including young people's sexual behavior and reproductive health. There are a number of variables that influence sexual behavior on social media. The goal: Of the literature review was to identify the variables that influenced how young people used social media in terms of their sexual behavior. Method: The techniques include a national and international literature review through the use of key words and selections based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, as well as 10 articles, 8 of which were published in national journals and 2 of which were published in international journals. Result: There are three elements—predispositions, contributing factors, and contributing factors—that affect adolescents' use of social media for sexual behavior. Youth must therefore acquire more understanding about and attitudes toward utilizing social media, and they must use visible social media in a wise manner. The study's: findings suggest that a few factors affect adolescents' usage of social media for sexual conduct.
