Factors That Affect The Development of Toddler: Scoping Review

Abstract
Introduction: In the Southeast Asia/South-East Asia Regional (SEAR) region, it was reported by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2018 that the third highest prevalence of developmental and growth disorders of 28.7% was Indonesia. Developmental disorders are a problem that needs attention for a country, because every child has the right to achieve optimal development as the next generation of the nation. However, the event factors that influence development are not yet known with certainty. Objectives: This study aims to analyze these factors based on the results of previous literature studies. Method: In this study using the scoping review method with databases such as Google Scholar Sciencedirect and Pubmed, in the last 10 years of publication, namely 2012-2022. Results: There were 10 articles that discussed factors that could influence the development of toddlers. Conclusion: Special attention is needed for every family that has children to control development so that there are no delays. There are several factors supporting delays including stimulation, parenting, family socio-economic, mother's education, use of gadgets, exclusive breastfeeding, hearing loss and home environment.
