Abstract

This paper aims to examine the importance of Information Technology Adoption and Fintech in improving SMEs Performance during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Since Covid-19, many domestic and global economic sectors have been affected. The impact of this pandemic is most pronounced in SMEs sector. The Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia [10] reported that 56% of SMEs claimed to have experienced a decline in sales turnover due to the Covid-19 pandemic. By using a sample of SME actors in Central Java selected based on purposive sampling, questionnaires were sent via google form and analyzed by using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The results show that information technology adoption and Fintech have a positive and significant impact on SMEs performance. This means that the higher the information technology adoption and fintech, the higher the SMEs performance.
