Halal Tourism Strategy: Evidence from Dieng Plateau Sunrise View Point Indonesia

Abstract
Developing the Dieng Plateau Sunrise View Point, Wonosobo, Indonesia, requires additional facilities, attractions, and accessibility services. These additional services are intended to meet tourists’ experiences, needs, and desires, especially Muslim tourists. The method used in this research is the balanced scoreboard approach. This technique can be identified as an appropriate strategy to achieve sustainable development. The perspectives used in this research include the financial, customer, internal business process, and learning and growth perspectives from a halal tourism perspective. The analysis found that lagging performance indicators have crucial value, including achieving visitor and investor satisfaction and improving halal tourism services. In superior performance indicators, the highest gap is in relational marketing of halal tourism and research and development of the benefits of halal tourism.
