How to Push Digital Ecosystem to Explore Digital Humanities and Collaboration of SMEs
Nugroho M., Cahyono B.
Abstract
The rapid development of digital technology today must be considered as an opportunity to build a business/entrepreneur. It is necessary to find ways how to create digital entrepreneurship through enhancing the digital ecosystem for SMEs. Factors that influence the strength of the Digital Ecosystem include Human Resources and Digital Collaboration. The higher the Digital Humanities and Collaboration, the higher the Digital Ecosystem. By using the Behavioral and Digitization theory, authors derive Digital Humanity and Collaboration and Theory Acceptance Model to propose a Digital Humanity and Collaboration proposition. This proposition is unique because it is motivated by the sub-optimal use of digital technology by presenting social intervention and proactive goal setting. Furthermore, this proposition is expected to become part of the management control process that will improve manager performance. This study used 250 SME players in Indonesia, especially in the Central Java. The empirical model developed in this study consists of 4 research hypotheses. All results are supported at the 95% level, which means the digital humanity and collaboration becomes an intermediary variable in creating the Digital Ecosystem.
