Abstract
The issue of poverty still needs to get a long-term solution. This requires a sustainable microfinance institution. In the digital era, the sustainability of microfinance institutions will face many challenges due to technological changes. This paper offers a model for increasing the sustainability of Islamic microfinance institutions in the digital era on the basis of Islamic human capital and information technology-based network that are imbued with Islamic values. Islamic human capital has characteristics that are very different from the concept of human capital in general. Likewise, network is imbued with Islamic values.
