Conceptual Model: Islamic Social Capital to Enhance Sustainable Performance of SMEs

Abstract

Islamic social capital is characterized by moral values in production and networks that encourage innovative interaction opportunities between devices so as to continue Islamic ethics. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of Islamic social capital and corporate innovation in maintaining SMEs performance. This study produces a concept of capital for improving the sustainable performance of SMEs through Islamic social capital in realizing the innovation performance of companies. Sustainable performance is the main goal of livelihoods and welfare. Furthermore, Islamic social capital based on Islamic ethics will help solve problems such as free-riding and network barriers with the dimensions of Islamic social capital, namely ta’awun relation capital, amanah structure capital and ukhuwah cognitive capital.
