Abstract

This study aims to develop a model that improves the performance of halal logistics service providers, thereby strengthening halal logistics in Indonesia. The model developed involves a new concept, namely, the integrity knowledge worker. The knowledge worker developed in this study is expected to improve the performance of halal logistics in Indonesia by enhancing the quality of the resources it owns. An Integrity Knowledge Worker (IKW) is a knowledgeable Human Resource (HR) professional who possesses a comprehensive set of knowledge to ensure they adhere to Sharia rules when performing routine work in the workplace. Knowledge management policy or Knowledge Management Practice (KMP) in this study is proposed as an antecedent that can potentially realize the integrity of knowledge workers, which will ultimately help improve halal logistics performance. The object of research in this study is a logistics service provider company in Indonesia, with the target respondents being managers from logistics service providers as those responsible in the organization. The method used in this study is a mixed method that combines exploration and explanatory methods.
