Abstract
In Indonesia, rice commodities are declared strategic, because if the level of availability and distribution is not met, there will be political, social and economic issues. To control the availability and distribution of rice, accurate data is needed so that the government can make the right policy. This paper proposes system architecture of smart monitoring of the rice logistics to provide information directly from the physical environment of stakeholders. The system architecture will contribute to the successful development and implementation of an Internet of Things-based monitoring system for rice logistics.
